MAUI — A massive wave knocked a surfer off his board off the coast of Maui, swallowing him whole, and it was all caught on video.
Tom Dosland was surfing on the massive wave when he suddenly bailed off the board.
The terrifying fall likely had witnesses holding their breath.
Reports say Dosland came away with only a stiff neck and a broken board. He was back at it the next day.
“It looked like a sea monster rising out of the ocean when it came my way. But I was going. No matter what,” Dosland told Surfer Magazine.
