CHARLESTON, S.C. — A homeowner on Sullivan’s Island saw seven coyotes walking along a nature trail by his property near Maritime Forest on Sunday morning.
Coyotes are common on the island, the city has hired people to trap them in the past.
However, he said it was a strange occurrence to see the generally nocturnal animals because it was after the sun had risen.
