MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting that happened early Thursday morning in the parking lot of a bar on 3rd Avenue South.
Captain Joey Crosby with the police department says officers were called to Donny’s Saloon, located at 1213 3rd Ave. South, for a shooting that happened in the parking lot of the business. Investigators say a fight broke out inside the bar and everyone involved in the fight was asked to leave by management.
In the parking lot, the victim was sitting inside his vehicle, when someone shot at the car, Capt. Crosby confirms. The victim wasn’t injured in the shooting but is now refusing to cooperate with investigators.
Capt. Crosby says investigators continue to collect statements and evaluate evidence to determine the facts of the case.
