LITTLE RIVER, SC (WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway a deadly hit and run in Horry County.
Troopers say it happened around 4:15 a.m. Friday morning.
They say a person was hit by a car at the intersection of Highways 9 and 57 near Gore Road.
Friday afternoon Horry County Coroner Robert Edge identified the victim as 47-year-old Horatio R. Johnson Junior. According to Edge, the man had a Myrtle Beach address.
Gore Road was closed this morning as crews investigated the incident.
