Myrtle Beach, SC (PRESS RELEASE) – Beginning July 31, 2015, new seasonal flight service from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport will be offered through regional air carrier ViaAir.
Aimed at end-of-summer travel, ViaAir’s inaugural flight to Myrtle Beach introduces a seasonal schedule to Charlotte. Beginning with the inaugural flight, service will run on select dates through Aug. 21, 2015. Passengers will also have the option of booking continuing flights through Charlotte to Beckley, WV, which is the gateway to southern West Virginia.
“This announcement is a win-win for the Myrtle Beach area, as it adds even more non-stop, affordable air service markets that can serve both our visitors and our year-round residents who are looking to travel to other regions,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to be entering into this new air service partnership with ViaAir, and look forward to welcoming many last-minute summer vacationers to our 60 miles of beautiful, sandy beaches.”
To celebrate the new service, ViaAir is offering promotional fares as low as $77 each way to/from Charlotte, and as low as $52 to southern West Virginia, which includes all taxes and fees.
