CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Students and fans in Charlottesville partied into the night after the Virginia Cavaliers survived another big victory in the NCAA Tournament.

Boylan Heights was filled with Cavalier fans who went through a rollercoaster of emotions after witnessing a ten-point UVA lead slip away late in the second half, only to celebrate in the end after Kyle Guy’s three free throws in the final second sealed the win.
“It’s been such a great experience, especially from last year we’re so proud of them like we’re just in so happy for them,” UVA student Abbie Bird said. “I’m so happy for them it’s been such a great experience
It’s wild absolutely wild I’m so grateful I got to be here I can’t believe it.”
After the buzzer sounded, fans spilled into the streets, blocking traffic, to celebrate the win.
