CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW)- National Safe Boating week is May 21-27, and the Grand Strand Flotilla of the USCG Auxiliary will be offering free vessel exams at the following locations:
– RT 544 boat ramp in Socastee, 10am-1pm Saturday May 21.
– Murrells Inlet public boat ramp, 10am-1pm Saturday and Sunday May 21-22.
– Little River Swing Bridge, 10am-1pm Saturday May 21.
The flotilla will also have boat patrols along the Intercoastal Waterway over the weekend.
The flotilla also offers a life jacket loaner program at the Murrells Inlet public boat ramp and the Wacca Wache boat ramp for anyone who needs it.
