The Highway 17 Bypass near Queens Harbour Boulevard in Myrtle Beach was closed for several hours on Friday afternoon.
SC Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins with the SC Highway Patrol says a truck hit a power line and crews were working to repair the issue.
Traffic was diverted to SC Highway 544.
Crews repaired the line and lanes reopened just before 5 pm.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Traffic was also backed up on Highway 707.
