GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office says the man who was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the chest is dead.
Deputies responded to a domestic assault call on Missroon St. in the Greentown section of Georgetown County around 6:22pm Saturday.
The sheriff’s office say they found a man at the residence with what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest.
47-year-old Charles Foster Johnson III of 107 Missroon St, died from injuries sustained from the domestic assault.
Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have arrested and charged 42-year-old Yevette Cooper, also of 107 Missroon St, with one count of Murder and one count of Possession of A Weapon During A Violent Crime.
Cooper is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
