BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Two people died in a head-on collision early Tuesday evening, according to Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown.
Brown tells News13 the accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on US 15-401. He says an SUV and small delivery truck collided.
Two people inside the SUV, according to Brown, died as a result of the accident. Their identities have not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the collision happened as the SUV was trying to pass another vehicle.
Troopers say all the crash victims were wearing seat belts.
