KINGSTREE, SC (WBTW) – Two people died in a car crash in Kingstree Friday night, according to the Williamsburg County Coroner’s Office.
At about 11:20 p.m., a car crashed on W. Academy Street, according to deputy coroner William Horton. He said no other car was involved.
Barrett Mack and Harry Washington, both 36-year-old men from Kingstree, died in the crash, Horton said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) came to investigate the crash, but the Kingstree Police Department was the lead investigating agency, Horton said.
No other details about the crash were available Saturday morning.
