MCCOLL, S.C. (WBTW)- The McColl Police Department arrested two people after police conducted a drug bust in a Marlboro County home Friday.

Police Chief Tommy Langley says officers arrested Eric Izard, of McColl, and Laura Mathews, of Myrtle Beach. Langley says each has been charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine and one count of possession of heroin.

Police say they found the meth lab inside a home on Clark Street.

Officers called in the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and a HAZMAT team responded to dismantle the lab Friday.

Police said officers also seized heroin along with the methamphetamine from the active lab.
