WILLIAMSBURG, S.C. (WBTW)- The Williamsburg County’s Sheriff’s Office arrested three men for their involvement in a deadly shooting at a Kingstree nightclub.
Deputies arrested Anthony Quinn Nero, age 28, of Olanta, SC and charged him with charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
Deputies also arrested Troy Frierson, age 29, of Lake City, SC and charged him with Accessory Before the Fact to a Felony and Accessory After the Fact of a Felony A, B, C or Murder. He was arrested along with Raheem Joseph McCrea, age 29, of Kingstree, SC who is charged with charged with Accessory After the Fact of a Felony A, B, C or Murder.
Police say around 4:00 Saturday morning, deputies with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident that occurred at 55 Williamsburg County Hwy in Kingstree.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male, Ernie Shay Burgess, age 30, lying in the parking lot area of Mingles Night Club. According to Investigators, Nero and the victim had a dispute in the parking lot which resulted in gunshots being fired, in the parking lot.
Nero, Frierson and McCrea were booked at the Williamsburg County Detention Center. The investigation into this matter is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
