Two arrested for twisting, fracturing 7- month-old boy’s arm

SUMTER, SC (WBTW) – Two people from Sumter have been charged with unlawful neglect of a child after twisting a child’s arm to the point of injury.

According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Madison Campbell Davis,19, and William Michael Bachelor, 20, were arrested Dec. 12 after a warrant was issued Dec. 9.

The warrant says the two placed a 7-month-old boy at unreasonable risk on Dec. 5 when they twisted the child’s arm to the point that the boy was diagnosed with a spiral humerus fracture at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
