Two arrested after vehicle shot up in Myrtle Beach

The Myrtle Beach Police Department has announced the arrests of two people in connection with a shots fired incident that happened in January.

On January 8, 2019, officers responded to the area of 1305 Hemingway Street in reference to a shooting incident in which a vehicle appeared to have been struck by rounds. As a result of an investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for Antonio Terrell Pierce Jr. and Tyreauna Holmes. Both were taken into custody Tuesday.

Police say Pierce is charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, unlawful carrying of a pistol and destruction to personal property.

Holmes has been charged with accessory to a felony after the fact and obstruction of justice.

Bond was denied for Pierce, according to police. Holmes received a $20,000 surety bond.
