Two people are charged with robbing a man at gunpoint at a Myrtle Beach hotel early Sunday morning.
According to a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report, a man said he was charging his phone on the second floor of the Bermuda Sands hotel when another man, 36-year-old Rollo Williamson of Marion, invited the man to come inside his room so he could get out of the cold.
The man told police that a while later, a woman later identified as 32-year-old Tamaira Ford of Conway, told the man to leave. Around that time, the man said he noticed some of his belongings were missing so he asked where they were. That’s when he says Williamson came out of the back room and put a gun to his chest.
The victim said Williamson told him to take his bookbag off and give it to Williamson. Then Ford reportedly took the bag off of him and Williamson opened the door to let the victim out.
The victim reported a number of stolen items, totaling nearly $2,500.00. Those items were: his iPhone, iPad, iPhone cases, guitar, clothes, computer software and electronic cords.
Williamson’s charges include armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Ford is charged with armed robbery.
Few other details have been provided about this incident, but Williamson and Ford remain in jail as of Monday evening.
Ford was previously charged with prostitution.
Williamson was charged in August with a number of crimes, including trafficking cocaine and trafficking MDMA/ecstasy.
