MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) – Businessman Donald Trump is set to appear next month at the Horry County Republican Convention, as he considers a run for president.

Horry County GOP Chairman Robert Rabon tells The Sun News that Trump will headline the county convention April 11.

The party announced the appearance Wednesday, the same day the billionaire Trump announced he was exploring a run for president.

Rabon says he expects another potential presidential candidate, Rick Santorum, to attend the convention as well.

Potential presidential candidates have been visiting the state in advance of South Carolina’s early primaries next year.
