DILLON, SC (WBTW) – One person was killed in a car crash in Dillon Saturday afternoon.
Lance Cpl. Judd Jones with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the single-vehicle crash happened on Pleasant Hill Rd.
The Dillon County Coroner says 52 year-old Harvey McDonald died of result of injuries when his pickup truck was in the accident. The Coroner says he was the only passenger.
Lance Cpl. Jones says the crash happened near Pittman Lane off Highway 9 at around 3:15pm when the truck ran off the right side of the road and lost control. The driver then came back across hitting a few trees after running off the left side of the road.
