FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – State troopers are investigating a deadly accident involving a pedestrian Tuesday evening in Florence County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the accident happened just before 6:45 p.m. on East Palmetto Street, near a Burger King restaurant.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken says William “Wes” Miller, 48, of Florence died after he was struck by a vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
