MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A trio of drug dealers pled guilty Wednesday to crimes in connection with a gang-related drug operation in the Lowcountry, Grand Strand, and Pee Dee, according to a press release from United States Attorney Sherri A. Lydon.
The release states that Joshua Randall, 30, Brandon Randall, 29, and Lee Tracy Riggins, Jr., 27, pled guilty to participating in a drug conspiracy that operated in the Florence, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach.
In addition, Joshua Randall pled guilty to possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and Lee Tracy Riggins, Jr., pled guilty to conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Joshua Randall faces the possibility of life in prison as a result of his guilty plea, while Brandon Randall and Lee Tracy Riggins, Jr. face possible sentences of 20 years and 40 years, respectively.
According to prosecutors, the trio, working with other co-defendants, distributed heroin, cocaine, and/or marijuana to buyers in Florence and Myrtle Beach.
The investigation has targeted members of the Billie East Side Bloods, a set of the United Blood Nation, and others who formed an agreement to distribute heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana in South Carolina, and to traffic in and possess firearms for the purpose of advancing the drug conspiracy, according to the release.
The investigation was and is being conducted by the FBI, the DEA, the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, the Horry County Police Department, the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the North Myrtle Beach Police Department, and the Georgetown Police Department.
