CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Murrells Inlet man was sentenced to 10 years in jail for trafficking heroin and shoplifting.
A press release from the office of Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson says 46-year-old Kenneth Matthew Roney, of Murrells Inlet, pleaded guilty to first-offense trafficking heroin and third or subsequent offense shoplifting on Tuesday.
Roney was sentenced to 10 years for each charge and the sentences will run concurrently, the release said. Roney will not be eligible for parole until he has served at least eight and half years.
