The National Weather Service has cancelled a Tornado Watch Sunday for the majority of  the counties in our area.

Tornado Watches have been cancelled for Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Marion, Marlboro and Williamsburg counties.

Tornado Watch is still in effect for Horry, Brunswick, Columbus and Robeson counties through 11pm Sunday.

A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for the formation of severe thunderstorms, and a few thunderstorms may be capable of producing a tornado. Expect to see strong, possibly damaging winds throughout the evening as a strong line of storms moves through the area and off the coast.

Tune to News13 this evening for more updates as we continue to monitor the weather in our area.
