Timmonsville, SC (WBTW) – The Timmonsville Whirlwinds will look for more success in 2018. Last year’s team went 7-5 and reached the 2nd round of the Class A playoffs. One noticeable difference on the sidelines will be new head coach Ron Baker. The East Clarendon grad was hired to serve as the head coach and athletic director at the school back in the spring. He plans to install a new offense and defense and likes the speed and experience he has returning. The team lacks a little depth with numbers, but if the playmakers stay healthy, Timmonsville could have another playoff caliber year.
