TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – A Timmonsville man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after police say he shot at people because of a fight over his girlfriend.
Marcus Bolton, 19, of Timmonsville, approached a home on March 19 near the intersection of N. Brockington St and E Byrd streets and started shooting, police said.
Three people at the home said they had an argument with Bolton about him and his girlfriend just a couple hours before the shooting, according to the report. Jackson left the home after the argument and said he would be back to “take care of them,” witnesses told police.
Witnesses said Bolton fired about six rounds toward them, according to the report.
Bolton has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony. He is in Florence jail without bail.
