LAKE LURE, N.C. (WNCN) — Photographer Cathy Anderson sent us an incredible time lapse video of the Party Rock wildfire at Lake Lure.
The fire has grown to nearly 6,000 acres and is only 19 percent contained at this time, officials said.
All of the wildfires in western North Carolina have burned nearly 50,000 acres and the fires have continued to slowly spread.
