MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Tidelands Health will sponsor a regional health screening from 7:30–10:30 a.m. Friday, May 6, at Forestbrook Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. The address is 2051 Forestbrook Road in Myrtle Beach. Screenings that are offered for a fee include chemistry profile, $20; complete blood count with differential, $20; thyroid screen, $15; diabetes (hemoglobin A1C), $15; PSA for men, $15. Chemistry profile tests require a 10- to 12-hour fast. A wide variety of other screenings also will be available at no cost. Registration packets are available in the information lobby areas at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, as well as at the screening event.
