GEORGETOWN, SC – The American Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage. Help meet our community’s growing demand and donate Friday, August 5, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The drive will take place inside the hospital in the private dining room on the first floor. Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 843.527.7173 or going to http://www.redcrossblood.org.
In addition to having a valid photo ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
