Three people are facing charges after a shooting in Lumberton on Thursday night.
Lumberton Police said Monday that the shooting happened in the parking lot of the Food Lion on West 5th Street. Responding officers found Nichlas Ivey, 26, of Orrum, shot multiple times with a small caliber handgun.
By Friday evening, Lumberton police had arrested the following suspects:
Eddie Hoyt Britt, 25, of Blueberry Circle in Lumberton; Mustafa Aziz, 20, of Blueberry Circle in Lumberton; and Daniella Yvonn Barron, 20, McDougald Street in Lumberton
They are each charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon into occupied property with serious bodily injury, and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
Britt’s bond was set at $45,000.00 secure. Aziz’s bond was set at $40,000.00 secure. Barron’s bond was set at $30,000.00 secure. She and the two men were being held in the Robeson county detention center.
Ivey is currently in stable condition, and his location is being withheld for safety reasons at this time, according to Lumberton Police.
