KINGSTREE, SC (WBTW) – The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office says one person was arrested for attempted murder and two more people were charged after moving a weapon used in a stabbing incident.
The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office and Williamsburg County EMS responded to a stabbing on Janice Loop on Tuesday at 3:21 p.m.
On arrival, deputies say they found Ronald Covington,19, of Salters was stabbed multiple times. Investigators say Aaron Terell McClary stabbed the victim after an ongoing dispute.
Over the course of the investigation, deputies learned that the knife that was used in the stabbing was removed from the scene by Jasmine Bradley and Nicole Jenerette. Investigators later found the knife hidden in the kitchen of a home.
McClary, age 31, of Kingstree, South Carolina was charged with one count of attempted murder.
Nicole Jenerette, age 37, of Hemingway was charged with one count of accessory after the fact to Felony A, B, C, or Murder. Jasmine Bradley, age 23, of Kingstree was also charged with accessory after the fact to Felony A, B, C, or Murder.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
McClary, Jenerette, and Bradley are currently being held at the Williamsburg County Detention Center.
