MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Thousands of people came to South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Saturday afternoon.
This is the 28th year of the garage sale and it sold out in record time. Over 275 vendors were there from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. selling electronics, clothes, antiques and many other items.
“This isn’t just people trying to get rid of their junk,” said Sales and Marketing Administrator, Tiffany Andrews. “It really is great collectibles and finds for folks.”
Andrews said most of the vendors and shoppers are from South Carolina, but many were from Georgia, North Carolina and Kentucky.
“The cool thing about it is, it’s an opportunity for everyone to get together, share your treasures, meet with folks you look forward to seeing every year,” added Andrews.
The return rate for vendors is about 64% and Andrews expects an even bigger crowd next year.
