FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – The third teen wanted for attempted murder for an armed robbery and shooting in Lake City has been arrested.
Major Mike Nunn, spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, confirms Patrick Amir Jackson, 18, of Lake City, was arrested and booked into the Florence County Detention Center Wednesday evening. Jackson is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of attempted strong armed robbery.
Florence County deputies arrested two men Monday who they believe are also connected to the armed robbery in Lake City.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office charged Demetrius Eaddy, 19, of Lake City, with two counts of attempted murder and one count of attempted strong armed robbery. Deputies also arrested a second man, identified as Ahmad Rasheek Nesbitt, 17, of Lake City, and charged him with two counts of attempted murder and one count of attempted strong armed robbery.
Major Nunn says deputies were dispatched to reports of the armed robbery on Salters Street in Lake City around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Two victims told deputies they were robbed by three people while walking along the road. One person, they claim, pulled out a gun and demanded money. Nunn says when the victims tried to run away, they told deputies the suspects chased them and fired several shots.
A judge granted Eaddy a $30,000 surety bond. Bond for Nesbitt was denied.
Nunn says the Florence County Sheriff’s Office issued arrest warrants for Jackson in connection to the incident Monday, and he was arrested three days later.
