HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A swimming advisory for a stretch of beach along the Grand Strand has been lifted, according to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
The affected area included 200 feet above and below the Lands End Resort, along Arcadia Beach, in Horry County.
“Bacteria levels have returned to normal,” said Sean Torrens of DHEC’s Pee Dee Environmental Quality Control office in Myrtle Beach. “Normal activity can resume in this area.”
