DARLINGTON, S.C. (WBTW) – Officers with the Darlington Police Department say at approximately 3:12 Saturday morning a victim on Sheffield Drive noticed that the doors to her husband’s vehicle were open and that there were two black males under her carport.
Police say the victim yelled at the suspects who then fled the area on foot. Police say the men were later stopped on North Street with the assistance from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Officer say in the stop several items belonging to victims from the area were found in the vehicle that the subjects were in.
Police arrested Kendrick Tafari Edwards age 17, Corneliuis Marcus Brown age 19, Kevonte Jamarcus Felder age 17, Dominique Markel Robinson age 17, and Quinterris Jovon Carmichael age 17 and charged them with Larceny less than $2000.
Edwards was also charged with Possession of Stolen Handgun and Driving under Suspension.
They were all transported to the Darlington County Detention Center without incident.
