Durham investigators have arrested an 18-year-old woman from a town at the Mexican border on drug trafficking charges.

Officers arrested Miriam Landin on Sunday after they say police recovered nearly 2 pounds — 847 grams — of crystal methamphetamine worth $847,000, at $1000 per gram.

Landin of Brownsville, Texas, was charged with two counts of level III trafficking meth and one count possession with intent to deliver.
