LUBBOCK, Tex. (KLBK) — Before sophomore Jarrett Culver signed with Texas Tech University and was competing in the Big 12 Conference, he saw his fair share of competition that he knew as his two older brothers.
Jarrett’s mom, Regina Culver, said her son had a basketball in his hand at an early age and was always on the court or in the gym.
“We got a basketball goal one Christmas and they played all day Christmas, all night Christmas and
they just did not want to come in the house,” Regina said.
Now making his debut in the Final Four, his mother believes in her son’s team to win the whole thing.
“They’re so special and the coaching, just that combination together with Coach Beard and Coach Adams and what they have done to develop the relationship they have with the kids, I don’t think anybody can beat us you just can’t do it,” Regina said.
