Opened with funds from the first Tastes at Pawleys, Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen is now open on Wednesdays and Thursdays for lunch and Saturday mornings for breakfast. The kitchen serves over 300 people each week. It is named for the Rev. Patrick J. Stenson, administrator of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, whose dream was to open a food kitchen in Pawleys Island.
Since the first event in 2007, Tastes at Pawleys has returned over $300,000 to the community through organizations whose missions are to feed the hungry and nourish the lives of people in our area.
Volunteers will be in the parking lot to assist festival-goers with their cars, and then guests can hop on one of our golf cart limousines, courtesy of Pawleys Island Golf, for a ride to and from the Parish Life Center.
