LITTLE RIVER, SC (WBTW) – According to Horry County Police online incident reports, officers responded to an armed robbery at the McDonald’s in Little River just after midnight Thursday morning.

Reports show the robbery happened around 12:25 a.m. Thursday at 822 Highway 17 in Little River.  The report from Horry County police says victims reported that the two robbers wore masks and dark clothing.

When officers reviewed footage from the restaurant’s security cameras, they saw the two suspects made entry when one employee was letting another worker out. Reports say the suspects forced the two workers back into the store, made everyone lay down and stole money.

Police are not yet sure if the suspects ran away or if they got into a car waiting nearby.
