WHITEVILLE, NC (WBTW) – A woman who police say robbed a bank in Loris was arrested after she robbed another bank in North Carolina.

According to a news release, Whiteville Police responded around 3:15 p.m. to a bank hold-up alarm in Whiteville, North Carolina.

Officers got a description of a woman they later identified as Victoria Neal, of Columbia, SC, who they say was leaving the bank carrying a bag with money.

Two officers saw Neal in the parking lot, caught her and recovered the cash taken in the robbery.

Neal is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators determined Neal is the same woman who robbed the BB&T in Loris. They said charges are pending in that case.

The Loris bank robbery happened at 3610 Broad St., according to Chief Gary Buley, with the Loris Police Department.

Police said a middle-aged female reportedly had a weapon, but it was not seen, Buley also said. At the time, law enforcement searched a three-block area and an Horry County police dog team was on scene.

Loris police released a photo of the suspect.
