SOCASTEE, SC (WBTW) – The Socastee man wanted for attempted murder after a shooting at Sun Up Grill early Sunday morning is now in jail.

Horry County Police officers asked for the community’s help finding a man wanted in connection to a shooting that happened at Sun Up Grill early Sunday morning.

Travis Lee Taylor, 35, of Myrtle Beach, previously wanted for attempted murder, is now in jail.

According to spokesperson Krystal Dotson, officers responded to the restaurant around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. They found a 37-year-old female with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unknown.

Taylor was booked into J. Rueben Long Detention Center at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday on one count of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. According to online booking records, no bail has been set.
