One person is dead after being shot by deputies in Spartanburg County Thursday.
The sheriff’s office says they were serving a search warrant at a home on Belcher Road in Boiling Springs around 10 a.m.

The suspect grabbed a gun and pointed it at deputies and they shot and killed him, according to authorities.
No deputies were injured during the incident.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has been called to investigate.
Both officers who fired at the suspect will likely be put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
Officials say at this point, it appears they both followed proper procedures.
