A suspect is in custody after a stolen gray Jeep crashed in Horry County.
John Harrelson, with the Horry County Police Department, says officers responded to a report of a carjacking at the Inlet Square Mall. A responding officer observed the suspect in the stolen vehicle while on the way to the scene. Officers then attempted to stop the suspect, but he wrecked on Highway 707 near Bay Road.
No other information about the suspect, the stolen car, or the crash has been released.
