MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a bar shooting.

According to a police report, the incident happened early Thursday morning at a bar on the 800 block of North Kings Highway.

Witnesses told police a man walked into the bar and was about to sit down when a man came in the back door and fired 3 shots, one of which struck the 32-year-old victim.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the report said.

Police at looking for 34-year-old Eric Lavin McCrea of Myrtle Beach on attempted murder charges.

He was last seen driving a bronze Nissan Armada SUV with SC tag JXD 286.
