GARDEN CITY, SC (WBTW) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office arrested an man in connection to an attempted abduction that occurred Sunday morning around 8 a.m. in Garden City.
A press release from the office says 67-year-old Jeremiah Anthony Dicapua, of Murrells Inlet, was arrested on Friday around 3:45 p.m. He was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center and is awaiting a bond hearing.
A woman said a man attempted to abduct her while she was out on her morning jog along South Waccamaw Dive in Garden City, according to sheriffs.
The sheriff’s office says a similar incident was reported around 7 a.m. in the Horry County portion of Garden City. Deputies are asking anyone with any information related to the reported abduction to call the sheriff’s office at 843.546.5102.
