SURFSDIE BEACH, SC – The Town of Surfside Beach Senior Citizen Advisory Committee along with the Town of Surfside Beach will be hosting a Seniors Fair on Friday, September 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Surfside Beach Fire Department located at 810 1st Avenue North, Surfside Beach.
The event will be an opportunity for the seniors of Surfside Beach and surrounding areas to improve and maintain Health and Wellness. Over 25 vendors will be on hand to provide information including Horry County Council on Aging, South Strand Senior Center, Horry County Health Department, Meals on Wheels, Surfside Beach Fire and Police Departments as well as insurance agencies, vision specialists, assisted living, urgent care providers, estate planners, hospice providers and more.
Walgreens of Surfside Beach will be on site from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to administer flu shots and pneumonia shots. Bring your Medicare card for billing. Admission is free and lunch will be provided.
