SUMTER, S.C. (WBTW)- The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after a shooting.
Deputies say they met with the 20-year-old victim around 2:30 Thursday afternoon, who told them an unknown driver of a white Volkswagen Jetta followed him from Loring Mill Road to Pitts Road in a road rage incident.
The victim told deputies the driver pulled beside him and fired a shot into the driver’s window, shattering the glass. The Jetta then made a U-turn, and drove back toward McCrays Mill Road.
Medics treated the victim for a laceration from the broken glass.
