FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – On Thursday a portion of sales from Pee Dee and Grand Strand sub shops went to McLeod Childrens Hospital.
This fundraiser will help McLeod buy 40 new neonatal monitors and replace the current monitors that are about 15 years old.
The director of the children’s hospital even helped make some of the subs Thursday.
“Days like today make all the hard work. And all the long hours’ worth every minute. We’re able to get out in the community and celebrate the great things that we are doing and that we are making miracles happen right across the street,” Director of McLeod Children’s Hospital Sara Roland said.
The new monitors will cost more than $1 million.
