MYRTLE BEACH, SC- A South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper riding a motorcycle was involved in a wreck on Harrelson Blvd, officials say.
According to the Horry County Joint Information Center, the 50-year old SC State Trooper from Rock Hill, SC, was travel ling west on Harrelson Boulevard when he lost control of his motorcycle and landed on the shoulder of the road.
The trooper was transported to Grand Strand Hospital.
Deputies with Horry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
