LAURINBURG, NC (WBTW) – One person has died after a shooting in Laurinburg that involved an off-duty police officer.
The woman died on Wednesday, according to Angie Grube, with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. The name of the person has not been released.
Grube said the officer is from the Laurinburg PD.
The incident happened nearly two weeks ago at about 8:30 p.m. on May 2.
No further information is available because this is an ongoing investigation.
