A woman has been charged after her husband was found dead.
Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealy says 54-year-old Beverly Williams has been charged with first degree murder after her husband, 66-year-old Jimmy Williams, was found dead.
According to Sealy, police responded to 774 Water Tower Road in Orrum, North Carolina on Thursday in reference to a domestic situation. When deputies approached Beverly Williams, she stated to deputies “she and her husband had been in an argument before she shot him.” Deputies entered the residence, where they found Jimmy Williams.
Sealy also says Beverly Williams is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond. Her first court appearance was scheduled for Friday at 9:30 a.m.
