GREENVILLE, SC (WBTW) – When high school student Matthew Blankenship wanted to ask a date to the prom, he set his sights high.
He made his ‘promosal’ to the object of his affection with a big sign just after she won the state shoot-off at the South Carolina State Skeet Championship.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, posted a photo of Matthew with his sign: “I am aiming for you to go to the prom with me.”
The SCDNR post read, “While she was aiming for her target, he was aiming for her heart.”
Brooke Paquin of Lewisville High School had to make the decision, and she said yes!
